Inform us of arranged parking places for a moving truck(at all places you want movers to stop). In most cases we use 24ft box trucks which are in reality about 35ft bumper-to-bumper long. Sometimes you will need to ask your HOA or property management staff for reserving a time slot for a loading dock or white zone parking place. If you live in a busy street where it is hard to find a parking place you will need to contact local municipal authorities or local police station to obtain a parking permit. Take care of parking in advance. Usually it takes five business days to get a parking place. We take great pains to make your move less stressful. If you need we will give smaller trucks (16ft, 18ft or 20ft) and do your move with a few trips.

Inform a moving company of heavy items (more than 200 pounds). This will provide an adequate manpower.

Please inform about bulky items (even if it is a regular sofa which may be considered bulky).

Let us know if you have difficult access to your current or new place (hilly and/or narrow roads, low hanging tree branches).

Notify us about your pets (cats, dogs, parrots etc.) as some of our logistic experts may have an allergy.

It would be a good idea to visit your new place before the move. So, you would have some plan where you want your furniture to be placed. If you do not have such possibility your movers will help you make decisions.

Charge your phones and tablets a night before.

Get some water and snacks for yourself as it may be inconvenient for you to cook during the move.

Have a good sleep before the move.

If you have kids pack their toys and other things a day or two days before the move.

Wrap the fragile items in a few layers of paper. Fill any hollow spaces with crushed paper, too.

We recommend to use standard moving boxes to stack them inside of the truck fast and easy. Make sure both ends of boxes are taped securely.

The heavy items (e.g. books) should be placed in small boxes.

Make sure you can close boxes easily and that nothing is sticking out through the top or bottom of each box.

Label all boxes kitchen, bedroom, living room, fragile, etc.

Pack pets into different boxes.

Make sure that all the boxes and items have been loaded.
